Terms
Last updated 22 October 2026. By using Payday you agree to these terms.
Short version: Payday is a personal budgeting tool with a 30-day free trial, then 100 kr per year. It shows you what you spend and helps you plan the rest of your salary. It does not hold your money, it cannot move money from your account, and it is not financial advice.
What the app is
Payday lets you log purchases, set a salary day, a monthly salary and a budget, and see how much you have spent and how much is left until your next payday. You can also connect a bank account to bring your purchases in automatically and split what is left of your salary into savings, emergency fund, fuel and free to spend.
The app is provided for personal, non-commercial use.
Who you are contracting with
The service is sold and provided by Viktor Lindgren, an individual seller trading under the name Payday, based in Sweden. Contact Contact.paydaypocketpulse@gmail.com. When you use the app you enter into an agreement with Payday. By continuing to use the service you accept these terms. You must be at least 18 years old, or have a guardian's consent.
Subscription and payment
After a 30-day free trial the subscription costs 100 kr per year and renews every 12 months unless you cancel. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period and you keep access until then. If you cancel during the free trial, you pay nothing. One free trial per person.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. We never see or store your card details. Refunds are described in our refund policy (30-day money-back guarantee).
Acceptable use
You must not misuse the service. This includes using it for unlawful purposes, fraud or spam; infringing anyone's intellectual property; uploading malware; probing, scanning or testing the security of the service; scraping it; reverse engineering it; reselling or redistributing it; or circumventing technical limits or the paywall.
Intellectual property
Payday owns the service and all its intellectual property, including the software, design, documentation and branding. You get a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the app while your subscription or trial is active. Your own data stays yours.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or end your access if you materially breach these terms, fail to pay, create a security or fraud risk, or repeatedly or seriously break these rules. You can delete your account at any time under More; your account data is then deleted.
Your data and your device
The numbers you enter are kept in your own browser on your own device. That means you are responsible for them: if you clear the site's data, use another browser, another phone or private/incognito mode, your history is gone and it cannot be restored from our side. Keep note of anything you cannot afford to lose.
The app gives no guarantees about accuracy. Totals depend on what you enter and on the information your bank returns, and bank records can be delayed, incomplete or wrong.
Bank connection
Connecting a bank is optional. You approve the connection with BankID through Enable Banking, a licensed account information provider under the EU Payment Services Directive (PSD2), and your bank credentials are never entered into or stored by Payday.
Only connect accounts you own or are entitled to access. Access is read-only: Payday can see incoming and outgoing payments, but can never start a payment, a transfer or a withdrawal. You can end the connection at any time with the disconnect button in the app, or by withdrawing your consent with your bank or through Enable Banking.
Your use of your bank's services and of Enable Banking is also covered by their own terms, which apply alongside these.
Not financial advice
Category suggestions, savings goals, buffer targets, daily limits and tips in the app are simple calculations on the numbers you give. They are general information, not personal financial, investment, insurance, tax or credit advice, and they do not consider your full situation. Decisions you make based on them are yours.
No warranty and liability
The app is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, and it may change or be discontinued. To the extent permitted by law, Payday is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost data, and total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the last 12 months. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes
These terms may be updated; the date at the top of this page shows the latest version. If a change matters to you, you can stop using the app and clear your data.
